Thoughts this week

It has been a pretty tiring week. I thought once school was done, every day would be a breeze. However, we have not seemed to have much downtime yet. Why is life always so busy, busy, busy? If I am not working on the house or playing with the kids, then I am doing one of the gazillion things that have to be done by Sunday for things to run smoothly there. I think this might be my first bit of downtime, but even as I am typing I am trying not to look at that humongous pile of laundry on the couch waiting to be folded. Someone really needs to invent a dryer that dries and folds. That would make life much easier! We have an impromptu visit to my inlaws tomorrow thanks to my wonderful sister-in-law (who is much more like a sister!). We were going to spend Memorial Day like any other day, but thankfully she had the idea to get the family together. I could use some good family time. I am excited about all of it except the driving time. I need a "beam my up, Scotty" button to make the whole thing perfect. This Thursday through Saturday should be a nice family vacation as well. This week will be tiring too, but I think it will be in the very good way! Bring it on!!

Christmas 2011

I can only find whole family pictures in the Christmas folders. I guess I need to do better at getting pics at other times during the year too. :) Here we are, a family of six...

I have never blogged before and don't even know if I will like it. I guess I will find out soon enough. This all started because I was trying to find an appropriate page for Neil so that we could upload his sermons. Turns out, wordpress worked for him because it accepts audio files with a storage update. I took this site because I figured, why not? Now to go fix the about me page...
